During her first visit as part of the Prêt-à-porter program, each client will have the chance to work one-on-one with a highly-trained volunteer “personal shopper” who will help her select her professional attire as well as provide support and encouragement as she prepares for her upcoming interviews.
The staff members of Dress for Success Montréal assist clients with drafting their résumés and cover letters, provide career counseling, conduct mock interviews, and facilitate access to our professional skills training course (under development).
After a client finds work, she can return to Dress for Success Montréal in order to benefit from a full week’s worth of professional attire and is invited to join the Professional Women’s Group (PWG). The PWG contributes to the professional and personal development of these women by providing them with a network of support, practical information, and inspiration to ensure that they retain their employment and reach their full potential.
We are looking for qualified and dedicated volunteers to join one of our 8 committees (Programs, Partnerships, Operations, Communications, Governance, Fundraising, Audit and Human Resources) to help other women reach their full potential.
